WOW!!! I cannot thank you enough for everything you arranged, and your patience in answering all my questions and concerns as well. We honestly had the most AMAZING trip ever – and it’s all thanks to you!
Everything went perfectly, all the transfers were on time (in fact early), all the hotels were lovely, and the service along the way from everyone was brilliant. The tours were good and covered everything we wanted / hoped to see and had a good range of activities too, it was so nice not to worry about planning things along the way as everything was arranged!
Simply put everything was perfect, the hotels in our view were better than we had expected, and the service at some (the Fondavela and the Punta Marenco) was outstanding – the others I think were just bigger and busier but still really good.
The drivers from Travel Excellence deserve a special mention too – Sadly I can’t remember the name of the driver who picked us up at the airport, I blame the long flight and tiredness, but he was great and explained everything which was super helpful and the water and gift was a really lovely touch. We had David to the airport from the Trapp Family hotel, then Douglas taking us to Monteverde he was really helpful spotting interesting things along the way and suggesting a good stop for a break, Carlos who took us to the boat for Tortuguero navigating some really bad roads and then Jose who took us to the airport, through some bad traffic! My husband is fluent in Spanish so really enjoyed chatting to them all as well.
Please tell your managers I think they have a cracking team working for them!
