The international website 20minutos.es selected the "85 best diving spots in the world", where the Cocos Island and Puerto Viejo occupy positions 20 and 35 in the world respectively. The famous Cocos Island, is home to various species of sharks, rays, eels, dolphins, turtles, octopus and occasionally the impressive whale shark can be seen. Meanwhile, the Puerto Viejo highlights are its crystal waters, coral reefs and diverse marine species such as dolphins, sharks, giant manta rays, moray eels, turtles and octopus.
Definitely marine life found in Costa Rica is perfect for diving enthusiasts.
