About Car Rental
Car rental includes mandatory basic coverage, required by law. Other optional types of insurance can be contracted directly with the car rental agent when car will be delivered. A hold (US$750) will be placed on the client’s credit card for a security deposit. No debit cards or cash are accepted for the deposit. Additional insurance or second driver option can also be included before signing the contract. For clients traveling with children, please take note that the use of an approved child restraint or booster seat is compulsory for children under 12 years old, according to weight, height and age; furthermore, children are not allowed to sit in the front seat of the car. Seat belts are compulsory for the driver and all passengers in the car.

Day 1
Meet and greet at Juan Santamaria International airport and private transfer to your Costa Rica hotel in San Jose, the capital city of the country.

Day 2
Dinner is included in the lodge.
Night at Ave Sol Sanctuary, Rustic Cabin.
Day 3
In the morning, you will awaken to the harmonious melody of the rushing river and the sweet songs of tropical birds. After enjoying Costa Rica’s tastiest coffee and a hearty breakfast, you will pack up and load the rafts in preparation for paddling down the Pacuare gorge past gushing waterfalls, serene pools, and pounding rapids. A snack lunch stop by the riverside lets you explore more waterfalls and natural water slides. An adrenaline-packed afternoon running Class II-IV rapids like Upper and Lower Huacas, Cimarron, Dos Montanas, and many more, will have you cheering ecstatically. After lunch, be ready for the last rafting adventure. This morning ends with the satisfaction of having conquered one of the wildest and most scenic rivers in the world during your Costa Rica holidays.
The take-out is near Rios Tropicales Operations Center where lunch is included.
Pick up your rented car (4×4 Hyundai Tucson, automatic transmission or similar) at Rios Tropicales Operation Center, where you will have the time to change clothes before driving to Sarapiqui area.

Day 4
After breakfast, drive to Hacienda Pozo Azul where you will enjoy an exciting horse ride.
Hacienda Pozo Azul is a farm of almost 1,000 hectares that belongs to a nature-loving Costa Rican family. During this ride, you will take the most of their knowledge on one of the well-trained horses. The trails and back roads of the Hacienda are the perfect scenery combining pasture, jungle, and rivers. Lunch included in Pozo Azul’s restaurant.

Day 5
After breakfast, drive by your own in order to get to your next destination: the Arenal in La Fortuna area in San Carlos.
Check-in and then relax in the thermal waters of your hotel in Costa Rica.

Day 6
After breakfast, drive to the Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges for a Natural History Walk.
After this educational hike, drive to Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.
Dinner is included in the restaurant of the Hacienda.
Night at Hacienda Guachipelin, Superior Room
Day 7
After breakfast, get ready for an exciting day filled with adventure as you embark on a tubing experience and Canyon Canopy tour.

Breakfast. Drive to the North Pacific Coast to enjoy a three-day stay relaxing in beautiful Potrero Beach.

Breakfast. Spend the day at your leisure. Soak up the sun at Potrero Beach, explore nearby coastal gems, or simply unwind at the hotel and take advantage of its relaxing amenities.
