The US carrier Southwest Airlines not only selected Costa Rica as the first destination in Central America (being the first international flight under the Southwest brand), but also announced their two new air routes.
These new routes will be between Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) and Juan Santamaria (SJO) International Airport, which starts on March 7th, 2015. Additionally, Southwest Airlines confirmed a flight from Houston to San José, from October this year.
