Pacuare Lodge has been selected as one of the top 25 eco-lodges in the world by National Geographic Traveler in its June/July 2013 edition.
The lodge is located on the banks of the Pacuare River, in a protected area of ??approximately 25,000 acres in the Caribbean region of Costa Rica. To get to the lodge, you can do it by river or land or a combination of both. The arrival by river will take you along the scenic rapids, class III, and on the exit by river you can experience the magnificence of the area and the primary rainforests, through rapids class III and IV.
The lodge has 19 bungalows of different categories, each was built with special attention to the topography and feature solar heated shower, private terrace and wooden floors, some of these rooms offer terrace and private pool. The philosophy of the Pacuare Lodge is a simple luxury, in union with nature.
