Zip lining tour: Pacific Park
This eco-tourism project of 222 acres (90 hectares of forest) located in the Central Pacific Coast, en-route to some of the main tourist destinations in Costa Rica such as Jacó Beach, Herradura Beach and Manuel Antonio, will allow visitors to discover the hidden secrets and hanging gardens of the Tropical Forest from a different perspective.
Most of the reserve is covered with primary forest on a steep slope where massive trees are laden with vines and epiphytes, which makes the pacific park one of the best places for zip lining in Costa Rica. These giants trees, which can reach 150 feet tall and may be 200 years old or more, spread their branches in a dense canopy that shades the forest floor. In addition to the exuberant plant life, the park is home to white-faced monkeys, spectacled owls, toucans and amphibians and reptiles. Spectacular scarlet macaws may soar over you as this area is one of only two spots in Costa Rica where you can see these beautiful red, blue and gold birds, who migrate daily from neighboring Carara National Park to roost in mangroves at the mouth of the Tárcoles River.
This Costa Rica rainforest zip line tour named Tranopy tour combines the in-depth forest view of an aerial tram with the thrilling of a canopy tour. The tour consists in a 30 minute tram ride with an expert naturalist bilingual guide that will point out some of the secrets of the rainforest and an exciting journey through 15 platforms and 10 zip line cables – five of them over 200 meters long (656 ft).
Tranopy Zip Line Tour includes: transportation, bilingual guide and visit to the heliconias gallery and the snake exhibit.
