Howdy from Texas! Just a quick note to let you know that our trip was a complete success. Arenas was very nice and lived up to our expectations. The Travel Excellence staff that transferred us around was punctual, friendly, efficient and courteous as usual. Overall, I think we preferred our stay at Punta Islita due to its remoteness. The Quepos area was more commercialized and frenzied than we expected. Not really to complain, as Quepos had many terrific restaurants, activities and tours etc that was lacking at the Punta Islita location. So each place has its own advantages, I suppose. Mostly just wanted you to know that the the trip went smoothly and we are already scheming about our next Costa Rica adventure. Next time, we will have you find us a good place in the South.
