Rio Celeste Hideaway

Rio Celeste Hideaway is located in the middle of the forest, near the main entrance to the Tenorio Volcano National Park. The hotel can be reached in an hour and a half drive from the Arenal Volcano. Each of its 26 spacious casitas has a private patio with outdoor shower. Each guestroom offers amenities such as Jacuzzi, plasma TV, CD and DVD player, movies, iPod dock, Internet access, safe deposit box, air conditioning, minibar and coffeemaker. The hotel has two houses for handicapped people. All these are designed for “non smoking” guests, and can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or, 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years. The “Kantala Restaurant” offers international and national cuisine. Also they have the “Cantina Delirio” and the “Luna Azul” wet bar. Rio Celeste Hideaway it’s a perfect place for honeymoons, or for celebrates weddings or anniversaries. Further, during the stay at this place is recommended to do the guided walk in Tenorio Volcano National Park and to the Rio Celeste waterfall, if the guest would like to enjoy the natural wonders of the zone.

The Lodge is located within Maquenque Eco Reserve; in the Northern Territory of San Carlos, specifically in Boca Tapada. The 14 bungalows are surrounded by tropical forests and along the San Carlos River. Each bungalow is designed so that the guest may be in contact with the nature and enjoying a sustainable stay. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, swimming pool, parking, private reserve, canoe tours in the lake, botanical garden, laundry Service, 24 hour reception, rubber boots and walking stick for the hikes into the reserve, or shuttle service from the hotel. The activities in the hotel range from horseback riding and night hikes to tours into the rainforest and bird watching.

Pedacito de Cielo

Pedacito de Cielo Hotel is located near the San Carlos River, in the northern region of the country. The lodge can be reached by land or by boat. This last option when it comes to groups of more than 10 pax is free. The natural reserve can be found about 2 km. from the lodge. The hotel has 12 bungalows and all of these are spacious, and have amazing views of the tropical forest and the gardens. The rooms are equipped with queen or twin beds, ceiling fan, closet and a furnished terrace. In Pedacito de Cielo the guests can enjoy Internet access, a restaurant where they can observe the dish when it is cooked and also, they can experience the pure nature through the different activities such as bird watching, horseback riding and walks into rainforest.
