For three years, the National Chamber of Ecotourism (CANAECO) with support from the Costa Rica Tourist Board (ICT) develop in Costa Rica the International Conference Planet, People, Peace (P3), this initiative was created thinking on the demanding challenges of sustainable tourism.

The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Allan Flores said that the support from the Costa Rica Tourist Board on P3 initiative represents a key element in the destination brand positioning, all the efforts we can make together, will be “firm steps” looking for a sustainable tourism, this as the main difference compared to other destinations.

The P3 conference provides an opportunity to show and share with others our way of sustainable tourism, learn and improve each other in this field that we are pioneers, innovators and leaders internationally, says Mr. Glenn Jampol CANAECO president.

Our co-workers Ms. Natalia Lizano and Ms. Laura Hernández represented Travel Excellence and their told us about the conference: "During the activity we participated in lectures and workshops focused on environment, culture and sustainable development efforts. We also met national and international companies that promote sustainable development on the tourist field.
