Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama participated in EIBTM, taking place at the Convention Center Fira Gran Via at Barcelona, where they present their tourism products aimed at the segment of meetings, incentives and business, so they can find new customers and those can enjoy some beautiful Travel Vacations in Central America.

The Minister of Tourism of Costa Rica, Allan Flores, said that "the congress and convention tourism is highly profitable for our country. For this, we will make every effort to position the destination in the Costa Rican tourist niche, which, we hope will to strengthen with the implementation of the National Convention Centre and Exhibition".

In 2010, at least 49 000 people visited Costa Rica with a Travel Agency on the basis of conferences and conventions and income primarily through the Juan Santamaria Airport. Six of 10 tourists have visited the destination more than once. The average annual personal income of these travelers are between 94 000 and $ 131 000, and their average age is 40 years.

A total of 14 tourism companies led by Costa Rican Tourism Bureau participated in the event, to show how sustainability is a leading product in this segment: Cactus Tour, CAST Central America, TAM Travel Corporation, Costa Rica Dream Travel, Costa Rica Top Tours, Destination Costa Rica, Hotel Parador Resort & Spa, Hotel Ramada Plaza Herradura, Marriott Hotels & Resort of Costa Rica; Quetzal Incentives Reason; SUMMIT DMC Costa Rica; Swiss Travel Costa Rica, Costa Rica Travel Excellence and Convention Bureau.

On the other hand, the Guatemalan Tourism Bureau is present at EIBTM with seven tourism businesses: Fishing Golf Incentive Travel, Conventions Bureau Guatemala; Kakaw & Sapphire; Organization SA, Porto Hotels, Quetzal Reason; Tourism Services Central America, SA, which will be promoting their products Golf Tourism, health Tourism, Maya World View Business and Tourism.

The Panamanian Tourism Authority (ATP) will show the real estate boom that is living in the last years the country, and how a business traveler can find excellent business infrastructure, combining their business stay and visits to sites of values natural or other travel destinations.
