Manuel Antonio National Park, located in the Costa Rican Central Pacific, will open new facilities. This is a new ranger station and the symbolic act of laying the foundation stone for the reconstruction of the path 'Punta Catedral'.

The goal with the works at the station is to give to the park rangers a suitable place to live while they are in service, areas for environmental education and research.

Manuel Antonio National Park extension is 56,983 hectares. A total of 1,983 land hectares and 55,000 marine hectares. It was established on November 15, 1972.
