Maroon 5, Bjork, LMFAO, Moby, Ximena Sarinana and La Mala Rodriguez are the top names on the list of musical performances confirmed for the 2012 Festival Imperial, one of the most important activities in costa rica for this year. The organization announced the line up this Tuesday morning at a press conference at the Hotel Corobicí.

Other names for the activity will be Thievery Corporation, Cypress Hill, The Flaming Lips, Skrillex, TV on the Radio, Gogol Bordello, Cage the Elephant, Bonobo, Major Lazer, Manchester Orchestra, Felix Martin & Al Doyle (Hot Chip), A-Trak, Akasha, Sonámbulo, 424, Bomba Estéreo, Porter Robinson, Huba & Silica, Zopilot, The Great Wilderness, Color Noise and Patiño Quintana.

The event will be held on March 24th and 25th in La Guácima and is definitely one of the best stuff to do in costa rica if you are around on March.

"In the next days, we will communicate the participation of the last two artists, which are international DJs that will come to complete the line up of electronic scenario Imperial Festival 2012," said Gustavo Cornejo, manager of the brand.

Among the new ideas for this year, it will be mounted two major platforms, alternating to facilitate the participation of the performers on stage.

Also, Cornejo, announced it will mount a separate platform for electronic music lovers, so, they can enjoy some of the best DJ's such as Skrille. If you want to be here for this lineup of great musicians, you should start researching for a few costa rica hotels.

The music will start at noon and will end until midnight. On this occasion, the organizers were associated with international producer C3 Presents, which was responsible for international festivals like Austin City Limits, Lollapallooza in North America, Chile and Brazil.

Tickets will be sell this Wednesday at midnight on the festival's official Facebook and have a discount on presale. The value of the pass to attend both days will be of 55,000 colones.
