The "Trainforest"is a small-scale replica of an old train, but created with all current electronic help in order to ensure the security of each customer. Travel through the Tropical Cloud Forest on a train, on a 6 kilometers railway in 90 minutes. It includes a tunnel, and four bridges, one view point where you can observe the Arenal Volcano and Arenal Lake, as well as part of the Children's Eternal Rainforest. In the main building you will find the reception, gift shop, restrooms, and restaurant with a capacity for 120 persons and a cafeteria for 40 persons.

Monteverde is one of the best zones where you can lean about the authentically coffee plantations and process used by our grandparents. The tour takes place in an environment that highlights the best of our culture and tradition that has made this a country of progress and peace. You will learn all the stages, starting with the plant, the harvest, drying, toasting and grinding of the bean, then, try a cup of the beverage we enjoy every morning. This visit lasts 2 hours and you will have the chance to taste a delicious cup of coffee. Optional you can enjoy a typical lunch.

This reserve is silent and little explored, offering marvelous views of the Arenal Volcano on clear days. All the projects being developed here are focused on the educational development of the region as three hundred and ten hectares bordering the Monteverde Conservation area have been permanently leased by the administration of the Santa Elena community High School.
