Almendros y Corales:
situated in the rain forest of the Caribbean coast,
near the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Reserve. The rooms are tent
style with mosquito netting, fans y hammocks. A very rustic place,
for those who like to camp and be surrounded by nature. The hotel
has restaurant facilities.
Cariblue:
located in the Cocles bay, 10 minutes from Puerto Viejo, where the
afro-Caribbean and local Indian cultures coexist in perfect harmony.
The bungalows built of precious timber are intermixed with the exuberant
vegetation of the tropical gardens, surrounded by virgin beaches
and jungle. Bungalows with private baths, hot water, and ceiling
fans. The hotel has restaurant, souvenir shop, and TV room.
Casa Camarona:
found situated in front of the beautiful Cocles beach, Limón.
It has 18 rooms, restaurant, bar, beach bar 'El Galliner', bicycles,
kayaks, and great variety of activities. Among the hotel facilities
are laundry and parking.
Mawamba Lodge:
this magical hotel is in Tortuguero, where the landscape becomes
the best host to show you the most important natural wonders of
the region. This hotel has 36 comfortable rooms with private baths,
fans, hot water and rocking chairs. The facilities offered are:
a family style restaurant, bar, swimming pool, a BBQ ranch and conference
room. Entrance fee to the Tortuguero National Park is not included
in the packages offered by the hotel.
Pachira Lodge:
located in Tortuguero, the hotel allows you to enjoy the tranquility
of the exotic views of the Tortuguero canals and all the nature
surrounding them. The facilities offered are comfortable rooms with
private baths, hot water, ceiling fans, bar and restaurant service.
Packages with daily departures include transportation, meals, lodging
and visits to the sites of major tourist attractions. Entrance fee
to the Tortuguero National Park is not included in the packages.
Rio Indio Lodge:
Located on southern caribbean coast of Nicaragua near to the border crossing, its operated and reached only from Costa Rica. The Rio Indio Adventure Lodge, located on the banks of the San Juan River, is a gateway to the wild and virtually unexplored Rio Indio-Maiz Biological Reserve in southeastern Nicaragua. The magical wilderness reserve, which spans 640,000 acres, is the largest lowland tropical rainforest north of the Amazon.
Samoa Lodge:
Tortuguero, Limon. Selva Bananito Lodge:
Located 20 kilometers South and 15 kilometers inland from Puerto Limon. A family owned rain forest lodge which generates income from tourism for the protection of its private forest reserve: Reserva Selva Bananito, and for the funding of varios conservation programs in the region. Eleven individual cabins constructed of beautiful, salvaged wood. They stand on stilts, following Caribbean tradition. All the rooms with bathrooms with solar-heated water, ample decks with hammocks, and a queen and full sized bed or two queen beds. A spacious rancho to enjoy your meals.
Shawandha:
in the middle of a rustic environment, designed in harmony with
nature, this hotel in Puerto Viejo offers: 12 wooden bungalows in
the midst of more than two hectares of gigantic trees (Kapoks more
than 50 meters tall) and of tropical flowers of an infinity of colors.
A private trail (200 meters long) leads to a beach of white sand
protected by a barrier of coral. Each room has a private bath, and
a unique and special atmosphere. The hotel offers restaurant service.
Siatami Lodge:
