Almonds and Corals is located 25 kilometres South of Cahuita National Park, in the heart of the Gandoca- Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. It is a delightful relaxing place where the magic touch of nature is combined with an original concept of jungle beach accommodation. The hotel has 24 bungalows (23 Suites and 1 Master Suite) laying under giant trees in a forest so dense that the sunrays hardly touch the ground. They have a palm roof and are furnished with rustic luxury, all raised off the ground and connected by wooden walkways that provide a safe walk amongst the jungle, towards the restaurant or the beach. During the night these walkways are illuminated by torches, providing the perfect atmosphere of a safari camp. Some of the facilities in the rooms are mini-bar, telephone, a full body size mirror, fan and hair dryer. Its beautiful rustic restaurant stands in between the bungalows and the trail that leads to the beach. It has been designed to let the elements of the rainforest be part of the decoration. Two amazing chefs delicately prepare the most astonishings international dishes with a pinch of local flavor. Breakfast is served as a continental buffet style. In addition, the hotel offers a bar, a Jungle Spa, safe box in the reception, souvenir shop, kayaks, bikes, snorkeling equipment and boogie boards rental and laundry service. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms.
